We are looking for a candidate that can join our team as a Mathematics Facilitator and Technical Education Project Lead.

Requirements for the position are:

· A degree in a mathematics/ related field or an equivalent qualification – A SACE registration will be advantageous.

· Project Management experience, Business acumen, and exceptional organizational skills

· 3-5 years Grade 10 to 12 teaching experience and a good track record results in Mathematics

· Sound knowledge of the Education System – subject specific: Mathematics and related disciplines

· The facilitator should be able to demonstrate an edutainment teaching style for a 21st century learner

· NPO Experience and sound Governance and Compliance understanding would be beneficial.

· Self-mastery, interpersonal skills, relationship management, people management and conflict management skills

· Stakeholder management skills and ability to negotiate

· Good command of English and above average computer skills and report writing skills

· Critical reasoning, ability to conduct root cause analysis, problem solving and continuous Process Improvement

· Must have own vehicle and a valid driver’s licence.

Ward 17 cleaning Campaign

BRC, sponsored by SASOL, delivered yet another successful clean-up campaign in ward 17. With the help of the ward committee members and the municipality, we tackled the passages known in Sasolburg as THE GREEN BELTS.

Environmental Awareness

The BRC Environmental Keepers Team is currently raising environmental awareness at our local schools through puppet show and industrial theatre performances. We promote recycling habits and environmental cleanliness at an early age and as a result we have installed recycle bins  in various local schools.

Vegetable Gardens Implementation

The past week BRC Environmental Keepers Team in partnership with CTE Agri introduced vegetable  gardening in one of the schools in Metsimaholo Local Municipality.

World Cancer Awareness Day

ODAY IS WORLD BREAST CANCER AWARENESS DAY.
As BRC Team we took part in supporting the pink Friday Breast Cancer Awareness Day initiative by wearing pink.
We are supporting the fighters, admiring the survivors, and honoring those taken by Cancer.

September Cleaning Campaign at Thembalethu Ward 9

BRC has a Clean – Up Campaign that happens every month as part of our commitment in fostering the SDG 11. September’s campaign was held on the 29th at Thembalethu ward 9 in  Zamdela Sasolburg. We had about 57 SASOL volunteers, the whole of the BRC team, community member and Metsimaholo Municipality officials.
